Conyers First United Methodist Church has a rich heritage of excellence in church music. Our goal, indeed our calling, is to continue that heritage - to build on it and grow it for future generations.
We believe that music can play an integral part in fulfilling the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20). We also believe, as in the verses immediately preceding the Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-17), that coming together at an appointed time and place and worshiping the Lord is essential to our empowerment to fulfill that Great Commission.
So - whether you choose to attend one of our traditional or the contemporary worship hours, expect good music. Expect music that honors and lifts up Christ. And expect music that will lift your spirits as well.
The vision and plans for the music ministry of Conyers First UMC are growing all the time! Thanks for visiting this site. Explore and discover how YOU can help share the good news of Jesus Christ ... through MUSIC!

IF your personal, school, or work schedule won’t permit you to commit to Chancel Choir long-term, try singing as a Seasonal Singer, singing when Christmas and/or Easter, or even the occasional Patriotic musical lines up with your schedule. Our Seasonal Production rehearse on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm – but Seasonal music is rehearsed FIRST, then Seasonal Singers are dismissed while the Chancel Choirs works on music for upcoming Sundays. Inquire with your Minister of Music.
Do you play an instrument? Let your Minister of Music know! Perhaps you can play in the Orchestra for our next major presentation!
Have an interest in Technical Things? Let your Minster of Music know what you like to do. Perhaps you can become part of the CFUMC AV Tech Team. We have three worship services each Sunday and they all must be staffed with trained AV operators.
